Nalkathaya — Theyyam Performing Community
നാലുകഥയ്യ
The Nalukathayya community preserves a small but significant body of hereditary Theyyam traditions. Their ritual responsibilities are linked to particular shrines, family lineages, and local sacred traditions where specific Theyyam forms have been performed for generations. Although their repertoire is limited in number, the community continues to safeguard unique ceremonial knowledge and performance practices within the Theyyam tradition.
